The Poppies is a print taken form my original artwork, created in 2024.

The original painting was created on Canvas, using black Gesso, acrylic paints and spray paints and coloured pencils.

The Bright red poppies have been rendered in a realistic style, making them pop against the abstract background. The background was creating using spray paints in yellow and orange , with drips and splats to add some interest.

The print has picked up the detail from the original piece beautifully.
