The bee design has been created by building up layers of acrylic spray paint in purple, pink and golds over a black background.The next layer added is the honeycomb stencil in a lovely shimmering purple. Finishing off with the final layer of the bee itself in deep black and warm yellow.

The coaster has then been sealed with a heat protective varnish to help protect the artwork.
